The examination provides candidates with an opportunity to demonstrate their English proficiency through a modern, computer-based assessment system.

LANGUAGECERT Academic assesses a candidate’s English language ability across four essential skills:

Listening: The Listening section measures the ability to understand spoken English in a variety of academic and everyday situations. Candidates may be required to listen to conversations, discussions, lectures, and presentations before answering comprehension-based questions.

Reading: The Reading section evaluates a candidate’s ability to understand written texts. Tasks may include identifying key information, interpreting meaning, completing gap-fill exercises, and answering comprehension questions based on academic passages.

Writing: The Writing component assesses the ability to produce clear, organized, and coherent written English. Candidates may be asked to describe visual information such as graphs or charts and write structured essays on specific topics.

Speaking: The Speaking section is a live interview assessing a candidate’s ability to communicate effectively in spoken English. Tasks include personal questions, extended responses, discussions, and opinion-based conversations. The examination takes approximately two hours and thirty-four minutes and is conducted on a secure computer-based platform
